Metro Transit is currently piloting multiple projects which aim to improve the information that customers who are blind and of low vision receive. For one of these projects, Metro Transit is working on incorporating accessible maps and wayfinding at their high-volume transfer points. Representatives from Metro Transit will be joining us, and they would like feedback from customers who may benefit from these efforts; this may include their opinions about tactile signage, digital information, and more. This session is to gather feedback about how VLR clients receive Metro Transit information (for example, scheduling and wayfinding between transit stops) and it will not encompass Metro Mobility services or Metro Transit facilities.
