Close your eyes. Imagine how you would shop for groceries or run errands if you lost your vision. As a Volunteer Shopper, you will provide a client transportation to grocery or other stores and help select items. Time commitment: approximately 2-4 hours per month.

Share your time and share your eyes to help a person with vision loss! You may read mail, newspapers, or other household paperwork, and you may help with projects such as writing thank-you notes. Time commitment: usually 1-2 hours every other week.
Reading help is especially needed in Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Eagan, Isanti, New Hope, Richfield, and Stillwater.
Yoga? Art history? Nutrition? Gardening? Weaving? Bubble gum blowing? What do you love to do? Share your passion, hobby, or interest with people who are blind or visually impaired! You provide the skills and enthusiasm, and we will help you to present a class that is accessible for our clients. Previous classes have included gardening, jewelry making, Italian cooking and much, much more. Time commitment: approximately 2-4 hours, one-time or more frequently.

Do you enjoy getting out to theater, exploring museums, and trying restaurants? Assist staff with recreational, social, and cultural activities for blind and visually impaired participants.
